Hi, I’m Gina DeNucci, licensed therapist at Evergreen Counseling and Wellness.
I’m glad you’re here. I hope this helps you get to know more about me and my approach. If you still have questions after exploring, make sure to reach out!
My clients say I am warm, kind, attentive and ask thoughtful questions. I strive to create a space where you will be seen, heard, and feel safe to be unapologetically yourself.
In our work together, you can expect that we will explore experiences from a place of curiosity and respect.
Depending on your goals some things we will work on are:
Identify the barriers that keep you stuck
Build awareness of your beliefs, values, & strengths
Recognize and shift unhelpful patterns
Connect more deeply to your body and emotions
Cultivate greater self-compassion
I work collaboratively with my clients because I believe that you will always know yourself best. You are not a problem, you’re a person. You’ve had experiences and I aim to see the world through your lens and learn what is important to you and how you are being impacted by your experiences to best support you in reaching your goals.
Hiking, Camping, Relaxing in a sauna, Traveling, Trying new restaurants, Watching a good movie or a good sunset, and Mainly spending time with my supportive people and pup.

who I work with
-
Common Concerns: Trauma, Anxiety, Depression, People Pleasing, Life Transitions
Does this sound like you? You’re feeling stuck or overwhelmed. When you feel this way you resort back to ‘doing’ for others and then end up feeling stressed and burnt out. Others may not always notice because you keep it in and don’t like asking for help. Even though you’ve tried to shift you notice patterns and negative beliefs that you hoped you’d ‘be over’ by now keep resurfacing. You want things to be different and you’re ready to make lasting changes.

Common Concerns: Trauma, Anxiety, Life Transitions, Depression, Grief, Self Esteem
Does this sound like you? You’re feeling overwhelmed or stuck. You may be thinking ‘Where do I go from here?’ or ‘Everything has always seemed planned out until now.. who even am I and what do I want for myself?’ Maybe limiting beliefs and fears are getting in the way of you expressing yourself and connecting with others. You might find yourself in the same patterns as before despite knowing ‘this isn’t really me anymore’. You want to shift and are wondering if therapy could be helpful. You want things to be different and you’re ready to make lasting changes.

Although the majority of my training and experience has been working with emerging adults, women, and adolescents, I have experience working with individuals 10+. If you are interested in working together reach out to see if we could be a good fit based on presenting concerns, goals, and my areas of training.
